Changing it up a bit this week… here’s a video. Starring Princess Samantha.
Update: As of now, I only one spot left for the eBook collaboration project. However, I have one submission that has not been finalized, so please feel free to continue to send me requests. Either way, I will be holding onto all submissions for future collaborations.

Facebook updates it’s profile interface – have you updated your Facebook profile? The Face Behind Facebook, founder Mark Zuckerberg was recently interviewed by 60 Minutes to discuss the ever growing Social Media giant. At 23 years old, Mark is now being compared to Google CoFounders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Big shoes to fill for such a young guy.

So what do you think? Is Facebook the “New Google”?
There’s a new browser in town and he goes by the name of RockMelt. Rockmelt integrates your social networking sites, Facebook & Twitter, right into your browsing experience. You can basically communicate with all your friends using one interface. One of my favorite features is that you can add the feeds of your favorite sites into the browser for easy access.
Check it out:
Currently, as far as I know you need to be invited by another user to install and use the browser. At this time you are allowed 6 invites; so choose wisely.
Articles Of The Week
By far, one of the best articles I read in some time was by Mark Schaefer from BusinessGrow.com. In this article, Mark speaks of overcoming a “blogger’s fears”. He covers topics such as
- Re-frame the fear.
- Focus on fun.
- Seek active support.
- Handling hate
- Fear of failure.
His one tactic of switching your conversation from “blogging’ to creating an “essay” was simply game changing for me. I can’t do the article justice … you’ll have to check it our for yourself. –>> Overcoming Bloggers Fear Factor
Are you part of the 92% of people NOT using Twitter? According to Entrepreneur.com, only 8% of us are using Twitter, with only 2% actually using it regularly; a surprising number for sure!
I have to admit I was a late boomer with Twitter; I just didn’t see the point. However, soon enough I learned of its immense power to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs on so many different levels. Also, as of currently, I receive 7-10% of my traffic from Twitter; that’s significant enough in my business for me to see the value in using it.
So here’s a question for those of you who have not jumped on the Twitter bandwagon: Even at only 8% of Internet users using Twitter, can you see the value in using this medium?
The way I see it is this: If you get in now, you will be ahead of the game in comparison to many of your competitors who are not using this medium.
You’ve probably heard me say over and over, it takes a community of people to help drive and support a business to move it forward; same goes for blogging.
In last weeks That’s A Wrap, I posted the 1st two articles of the Striking Six Blog Series and this week the fourth article has made the cut. I want to introduce you to the fourth contributor, Corbett Bar from ThinkTraffic.com who featured the article, ‘How to Join Forces with Other Bloggers and Grow Your Audience Together‘.
He wrote a great piece on this very topic; looking to build your “tribe”, your community of supporters to help you along your journey. It is a well written and very thought-out piece that hits close to home.
If you’ve missed the previous three bloggers from this series, here are the articles:

99 Designs is not a new site, however something tells me that many people still do not know about this goldmine.
It is the #1 online marketplace for graphic design. 99designs allows you to post a graphic design contest where multiple designers compete for the winning bid. Of course the larger the bid, the more people working on it. And what’s super cool is that if you are not happy with it, you don’t have to pay! Although I sure that’s rarely the case.
Ever see one of those online interviews where you are viewing the interviewer and the interviewee at the same time? Ever wonder how they do that? Quite simple actually. Turns out it’s just a matter of purchasing a software that allows you to be used with your Skype Video.
Simply install the software and the program does the rest. All the interviewee has to do is sign into their Skype Video and the interviewer takes over.
Here is one that I know of –> Replay Telecorder, which will run you $30 to purchase. There are a few other reputable ones for both PC and Mac; you can just run a search for them on Google.
So get to interviewing!
On that note, starting next year, I will be creating a series of interviews with up and coming entrepreneurs. It will be designed to inspire and encourage other entrepreneurs going through the same obstacles in their online business. Hopefully by hearing the stories of others, it can motivate you to continue to take action and forge forward with your own business … so stay tuned.
If you are a unique story you would like to share, please feel free to contact me.
It’s been a whirlwind the last couple of weeks. I’ve hit more obstacles and overcome them in the last two weeks than I have in the last two months!
You will always be faced with limited beliefs and obstacles in your business; it’s part of being human. It’s how we choose to face these obstacles and deal with our limiting beliefs that will determine our successes and failures.
I promise you, the more you deal with them head on, the easier it gets and the less you will be confronted with these issues.
So stop hiding out from yourself and others. Face your fears, tackle them head on and claim your victory!
